Superhuman Games first launched in 2013 and is now recognised as the UK's ultimate outdoor functional fitness and endurance event. Featuring five workouts throughout the day, participants compete to complete as many laps as possible of each task.


Competitors comes from all over the world to have a go, ranging from those with military experience, CrossFit competitors, OCR athletes, personal trainers, and of course, the everyday fitness fanatic. Our workouts are uniquely designed to be open to all abilities, allowing first-time competitors to take part alongside experienced Superhuman Games athletes.

As always our events are designed for all fitness levels, so whether you're new to functional fitness or a more experienced fitness racing athlete, we have options to suit you.


THE WORKOUTS

There are 5 workouts throughout the day, with each requiring you to complete as many laps as possible of a specific tasks within a 20-minute time cap. The order you will perform the workouts will vary depending on which heat you are in.

Please note: The workouts for the 2025 Superhuman Games will be released 12 weeks before the event is set to take place. The workouts listed below are last year's workouts.

VO2 MAX

This workout is an all-out lung buster, usually involving running, rowing or rucking.


The 2024 VO2 Max workout consisted of a 600m sandbag and ruck run, followed by a 1.2km ruck run and as many 200m sandbag hill sprints in the remaining time, with your total score the distance achieved from the 200m hill sprints.




UNCONVENTIONAL BEAST

A multiple-carry workout using unconventional objects such as logs, kegs, sandbags and more!


The Unconventional Beast workout in 2024 consisted of wheelbarrow walks, block carries and log zercher carries.




THE ASSAULT COURSE

Simple on paper - just smash out as many laps as possible of our military-style assault course, with your score being the combined number completed by all teammates.


Pairs must only have one athlete at once performing the laps, while the team category may have two athletes.

STRENGTH AND HONOUR

This workout typically involves heavy lifting but Superhuman-style! You can expect movements like tyre flips, tyre pulls, drags and heavy sandbag work.


The 2024 Strength and Honour section consisted of sandbag over shoulder, sandbag carries & tyre flips, scored by the total number of laps achieved in 20 minutes.




BRUTAL BEAT DOWN

A fast and furious workout using bodyweight and full body movements to test your mobility as well as functional endurance.


The 2024 Brutal Beat Down consisted of burpees over line, weighted bear crawl tyre pulls, key ground 2 overheads, rope tyre pulls and running laps, with the score being the total number of laps achieved in 20 minutes.

Superhuman Games is a full-day event.

Competitiors must arrive by 8:30 am and the event presentation will finish at 6 pm.


Parking


Parking can reserved online closer to the event date.

Spectators


We never charge for spectators, so everyone is welcome to come and support.
